ONE OF A KIND
This stunning one of a kind table was hand crafted with both precision and passion.
Our client had come to us half way through their renovation with us with concern as they just couldn’t find the prefect table to fit their space. Everything was either too small or didn’t fit the visual of what they envisioned for their home and were desparate not to settle for less than what they loved.
So… we made it happen!
We worked with our clients to design the perfect dining table for their newly renovated home. We gather the top 3 non negotiable details when designing and crafting each piece. Shape was the first step in the creative process, and immediately it was decided. Round !
Next, it was important that the table was large enough to have 8 seats comfortably around the table, so a 2.5 diameter size was created.
‘Feature’, lastly our client knew she wanted the base to be featured with this stunning coved pattern design, adding both texture and a pleasing visual difference. THE ULTIMATE KITCHEN FEATURE
Incorporating this custom blackbutt framework around the base of their island bench was something our skilled craftsman took great care in ensuring it was no less than perfect.
When designing this kitchen, our client came to us with a specific image they found and wanted to recreate it to their taste. Measuring the exact heights and widths, we were able to execute this feature perfectly whilst also complimenting the 4 blackbutt overhead shelves.
All 4 shelves were hand made to 1800mm W x 300mm D to symetrically line up with the highlight windows below. We even rebated the shelving out to incorporate some warm strip lighting to add a peaceful ambiance in the evening.
Adding warmth, visual uniqueness and a point of conversation, the use of this beautiful blackbutt timber was exactly what this kitchen needed and we were proud to do so for our client.
WHOLE HOUSE WONDER
In this whole house internal renovation, our clients wanted classic and timeless features throughout. It was important for them to have neutral tones that wouldnt date in 5 years. Sticking with white base tones and pops of black hardware, the addition of blackbutt features throughout was imperative in keeping the home warm and cozy.
Black butt timber shelving in the kitchen was followed through to the buttlers pantry, along with a custom timber overhead box on the laundry side, tying it all together with a hand made v grooved sliding door separating the two areas with both asthetics and adding a layer of acoustic control. Loving the homey feeling the blackbutt timber brought, it was a no brainer that we continued this through to the living room, with a built in display feature unit next to the fireplace.
The use of this blackbutt timber was perfectly executed in this internal renovation for our clients.
THE WOW FACTOR
The wormy chestnut wow factor !
This side table off of the kitchen island benchtop, was meticulously crafted to be exactly what the client wanted. Not being able to decide between stone or timber… why not do both !
We brought the timber benchtop down 100mm and finished off with a flawlessly mitred waterfall end. Tying over to connect with the other side of the kitchen we added in some floating shelves symetrically either side of the rangehood. Next on our clients wish list was an internal sliding cavity barn door. The stunning natural knotts and grains of the wormy chestnut timber species, added enormous amounts of character to this stunning piece.
This client came to us with some big dreams and it was a pleasure to be able to bring those dreams to life !
