Ascot Vale Renovation & Extension
This Ascot Vale renovation and extension was a collaborative project delivered alongside Ash from Tove Interiors and our wonderful clients, with a clear objective: to create additional space that would support a growing family as their needs continue to evolve.
From the outset, the interior designer provided a detailed and considered brief. Through close collaboration and aligned expectations, the vision for the home was executed seamlessly.
The modern kitchen was redesigned to maximise both storage and functionality. Anchored by a generous island bench, the space now encourages family connection—ideal for preparing meals, entertaining, and everyday living.
The living room was significantly enhanced by extending into the area previously occupied by the deck. With an expansion of approximately two metres, the space now feels open, generous, and far more functional for family life.
A key element of the renovation was the reconfiguration of the master suite. By extending the side of the home by approximately one metre toward the boundary, the master bedroom gained valuable additional space. This flows effortlessly into a new ensuite, where a skylight introduces abundant natural light, beautifully highlighting the selected finishes within the shower.
One of the standout achievements of the project was the laundry transformation. Despite a very tight footprint, a grand and highly functional laundry was delivered. Thoughtfully designed storage solutions were incorporated, along with an elevated washer and dryer to improve accessibility and everyday usability. This space has had a significant impact on the overall functionality of the home.
Overall, this renovation has greatly enhanced both the layout and liveability of the home, delivering practical, well-designed spaces that will continue to serve the family for years to come.
