Entertainers dream home, with innovative details at every turn.
In this renovation project, we had the pleasure of collaborating with the homeowners to completely transform the internal space of their home into an entertainer’s delight. The design features a moody aesthetic with warm timber elements throughout, moving away from the typical “white and bright” brief.
The renovation involved an extensive redesign of the layout, resulting in a more functional space. The open-plan living area now features five electric Velux skylights that flood the home with natural light. Custom-made timber elements and feature doors create a warm and inviting feel, beautifully contrasted against the all-black kitchen.
For the kitchen, our homeowners were inspired by a completely black kitchen image and fell in love. At Mavben, our in-house joinery team brings our clients’ dreams to life. From design and drawings to factory manufacturing and installation, our team ensures every detail is executed to perfection.
The master bedroom showcases custom design and personalized touches in every corner. The redesigned ensuite and wardrobes include a “secret door” that, when closed, appears as another wardrobe. Once opened, it reveals a luxurious, modern ensuite with dark tiles and tapware, and a custom vanity unit made from the same timber used for the wardrobe doors. This timber was also incorporated into bespoke bedside tables and a dresser unit, creating the ultimate master bedroom you’ll never want to leave!
Additional luxuries, such as floor-to-ceiling custom-made timber pocket internal doors, upgraded luxury bathrooms and laundry, and custom-made timber TV feature shelving, all contribute to making this house our clients’ dream makeover.
And let’s not forget the outdoor space! We completely renovated both the front and back yards. The expansive outdoor entertaining area in the back boasts a fully equipped outdoor kitchen, a large deck, a spa, and a shed—perfect for summer entertainment. The front yard also received a refresh with a new retaining wall, a sleek grass area, new paint, windows, and a custom front door.
Through this renovation, we’ve created a space that truly embodies the feeling of home—a place our clients look forward to returning to and enjoying every minute, whether alone or hosting family and friends. We’ve not only enhanced the aesthetics of the home but also the daily lives of our clients.
